Hello and welcome everyone!

Today I am sharing my inspiration for the NEW Color Challenge at Ink n’Splatter Stamps.

My card today features one of the super adorable bears from the Beary Whishes Pairables Stamp Set.

I stamped this little cutie on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

I bought this large font die a while ago and thought this image would fit perfectly with it. I couldn’t resist making it into a shaker card with lots of pretty sparkles.

To help fill some of the white space I die cut lots of little flowers and added dimension to the center of the flowers with sparkly bits.

Hi friends!

Is there such a thing as loving someone too much?…nope…never!

This little sweetie is sharing all of her love in the form of a puzzle. This adorable image from The Paper Nest Dolls is called ‘Ava with Heart Puzzle‘. She was originally drawn for Autism Awareness, but she can also be used for lots of other occasions.

I printed this little cutie at a height of 3.4″ on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

The shaker part is made with tulle netting as I find it easier to photograph, and it also gives the card a little bit softer feel. I have to say I had fun going through my stash of shaker bits choosing colors that are in the background paper. It’s good to go through those sometimes just to remember what you have…lol!!

Hello everyone!

Can you believe Valentine’s Day is right around the corner?

I have wanted to create a Valentine’s card in non-traditional colors for quite a while, and finally took the plunge. This adorable little dude named Angel Luciano is from Digi Doodle Studios. He was perfect for a card in blue.

I printed this cutie on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with the following markers.

Hello friends!

How sweet are these adorable little feathered friends? These little cuties are from Digi Doodle Studios ‘Party Birds‘ digital stamp. So sweet!

I printed these little cuties on X-Press It Blending Card and used the following markers and colored pencils to color them with.

We were given the challenge of creating a Christmas card with an image that was drawn with a different theme. A lot of creative masking and I changed this image into a Christmas image.

Hello my friends!

I am back today to share a fun Flamingo themed mini slimline card with you. These seriously adorable Flamingo’s are from Crafty Meraki and are part of the clear stamp set called Flocking Fabulous.

We are having an Instagram Hop today and would love for you to join us. Details below.

I started my card with a card base of 6-3/8″ x 3-5/8″. Next using the 3 Room Studio Mini Slimline die, I cut one from blue dotted paper and three from white card stock to give some depth for the shaker element. I used tulle for the shaker windows to give the card a softer feel, sandwiching it between the blue and one white die cut. The remaining two were glued together and attached to the card base. I then added the white stitched center pieces to the card, added bling confetti, and adhered the top section to the bottom piece with foam tape.

The fabulously adorable Flamingo’s were stamped on Neenah 80# Solar White paper with Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Ink, and then colored with Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut the images out and attached them to the front of the card using liquid glue.

Hello and welcome!

I am beyond excited to share my design team project for Digi Doodle Studios today!  Dina was so sweet and drew a set of adorable little lambs as a special request for me.  The digital stamp set it called ‘Wooly Lamb Pairables‘…and they are beyond adorable!!

My card base is roughly 5.25″ x 5.25″.  I added many layers on top of that, placing a shaker element in the middle of the card.  I added cheese cloth around the shaker element before adding the lamb, clouds, and flowers.

Happy Friday!

It’s once again Inspiration Friday at La-La Land Crafts.  Our theme this week is to use products from the new release.

Courage Marci is prepared to fight like a girl!  I am sending lots of hugs and hope her way.

I stamped this little sweetheart on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following Copic Markers.

To create the outside ribbon border I die cut 4 of the Awareness Ribbon Die from pink cardstock.  I place the die cuts upside down on a rotary mat used for quilting which has measurements on it so that I could make sure that it stayed square.  I taped the pieces to the mat using Scotch removable tape so that I could glue the corners together.  Once the glue was dry I could then remove the piece and glue it to my card.

I then die cut the scalloped square using the Scalloped Rectangles Die, partially cutting from both directions, moving the die over in order to create a square.   The Double Stitched Squares Die was cut in the same way so that it fit the size of the opening.

I knew I wanted to create a shaker card with the Hope Heart Die, but needed the top of the heart to be a little bit thicker in order to add the double sided foam tape without it being visible.  I knew if I matted the heart it would be just thick enough to make it work.

To create the matting around the heart I taped the Hope Heart Die onto a piece of pink cardstock and lightly traced around the outside and the inside with a fine point pencil and then carefully fussy cut it out by hand.

It’s time for Inspiration Friday at La-La Land Crafts and we have some serious cuteness in our new release!

My inspiration today is using this adorable baby and the sweet little bunny are from the ‘Bundle of Joy Clear Stamp Set‘.  The new dies are the ‘Baby Onesie Die‘, and the ‘Welcome Baby Die‘.

I absolutely love baby cards with shaker elements.  My favorite way to make them is with Tulle, it gives an element of softness to the card.

The polka dot background was created with the ‘So Many Dots Layering Stencil‘ and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink.  The scalloped square was carefully cut using the ‘Scalloped Rectangles Die‘ with partial die cutting from both sides, moving the die during the process.  The center circle was created using one die from the ‘Pierced Scalloped Circles Die‘ and one from the ‘Double Stitched Circles Die‘, taping them together before die cutting.
