Little house of Fairies

Hi friends!

If you follow my blog…you know I love all things girly and pink!

I have been wanting to create a little flip album for quite some time, and these adorable little fairies from Paper Nest Dolls were so perfect for this project.

My inspiration came from a project I saw online when ordering my paper.

Once I decided which elements I wanted to use from the Fairy Set, I printed them on X-Press It Blending Card and started coloring.

The mushroom shape was cut out with my Cameo Silhouette. I started with 5 white pages and added the layers to each side of the page. Embellishments were added with various dies I have. Lots of dies that haven’t seen love in a long time…lol!

I layered some of the flowers, adding enamel dots in various sizes to the centers of the flowers.

Every smart fairy knows they need a back door…cuz you never know when you need to sneak away…lol!!

Hello and welcome!

Today is all about this hottie little gnome from Digi Doodle Studios called Antoni Coffee Gnomie.

I don’t know about you, but I think he needs a girlfriend for Christmas…just sayin’!

I printed this handsome little dude on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with the following Copic Markers.

I created the JOY die cut on my cameo silhouette using two different fonts, manipulating them until I was happy with their shape and placement.

The dies are from Impression Obsession and Magnolia DooHickeys.

Hello and welcome!

Today I am sharing this super sweet image called Little Skater from All Dressed Up Stamps! Oh how I wish I could stand up on skates!

I printed this little sweetheart on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers:

I used a card base of 5″ x 5.5″ so I had room to add the snowflake border at the top. I added lots of layers and lots of die cuts. I created the ‘Snow’ part of the sentiment on my Cameo Silhouette.

Hello my froggy friends!

This sweet image from Digi Doodle Studios is part of the Pond Life Pairables Digi Stamp Set.  The paper is from the digital set called On the Pond.

I absolutely love this adorable digi stamp set!  I had the image of a little boy stuffing frogs in his pockets and thought this card design would be perfect.

I started with an idea I found on Pinterest, but couldn’t find an SVG file that was quite what I was looking for.  I have the mindset…if there is a will, there is a way.  So…I opened up my Silhouette software and got to work creating.  I however, wasn’t prepared for the hours involved since this is the first file I created…lol

The card base is A2 size – top folding.

I love, love, love the digi paper, but it was a little too dark for the frogs to stand out.  To make the paper lighter I brought it into Photoshop and changed the opacity to 60%.  This leaves all the colors the same, but just lightens it up.
