Happy Friday everyone!

It’s Inspiration Friday at La-La Land Crafts once again and this week the theme is ‘Anything Goes’.

‘In Style Marci‘ was such a perfect stamp for me to work with for this week.  My Mom taught me how to sew at the age of 5, and with 3 daughters I have sewn many dresses throughout the years.  I often find a tape measure draped around my neck as I am busy stitching away.

I stamped this darling little Marci on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following Copic Markers

White Gel Pen & Nuvo Aqua Shimmer in Glitter Gloss

I love ribbon and lace so I knew I had to include them in my design.  The lace was quite wide and a bit had to be cut off.  From what I cut off I gathered with needle and thread and attached it to the bottom of the tutu with very sticky tape from the backside.  I attached little colored gems to the pin cushion for a little sparkle.

I added tiny white dots to her glasses and pants with a white gel pen.  Nuvo Aqua Shimmer in Glitter Gloss was added to the scissors and to her glasses for some added sparkle.
