Good morning!

It’s time for another new release at Whimsy Stamps, and oh my goodness…I was certainly challenged with this little Rock Star from the Goth Star clear stamp set!  I am a country music fan, so I really had to put my thinking cap on…lol!  I envisioned him being on a stage rockin’ out with his hard core rock fans.

I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with the following copic markers.  Once I was finished coloring I took some time and fussy cut him out…even the tiny guitar cord!

I started with a 5 1/2″ square card base.  To that I added a layer of black, and a layer of red that was stamped in black with the Goth Skull background stamp.  The next set of layers start with the striped layer measuring 4 3/8″ x 5 3/8″.

I die cut a circle using one of the dies from the Pierced and Stitched Circle Die Set and inked it up with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a black scrap of paper before adhering to the assembled card with foam tape.
