Trick or Treat

Hello everyone!

I’m back today with my last creation as a guest designer for RAM Stamps September new release.

These adorable trick or treat friends are from the digital stamp set called ‘Trick or Treat Mouse‘.

What an adorable costume that would make…just sayin’!

I printed these little cuties on X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with the following markers and colored pencils.

Mouse: T4, 43, T2, T1, T0
Bats and Spider: T6, T5, T4, T2, T1, T0
Ears: R20, R30, R00, R000
Sign: E44, E43, E42, E41, E40 – E57, E55
Green: YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
Orange: YR18, YR16, Y15, Y35
Hat & Cape: T5, T4, T3, T1, T0 – I then added Prismacolor Pencils on top of the gray: 901, 1022, 919, 1087, 938

I’m not a huge black and orange fan, so this softer version of Halloween paper was perfect for my project. I added a wide piece of ribbon to add a little break from the diagonal stripes. Since my ribbon had a definite one way pattern I cut the ribbon in half and attached the two pieces together behind the center frame in opposite directions. Two black enamel dots were added as the final touch.

Be yourself this Halloween

I printed this little cutie on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

I loved the sentiment that came with the stamp, but didn’t have room for it on my card…so I created my own that would fit under the image.

For Someone Special

Hello everyone!

There are times you need a card for someone and you struggle with the perfect sentiment…kind of like a ‘just because’ card. This is one of those cards…lol

Today to share my design team project for I Am Roses featuring this super sweet image from Ram Stamps called You Are Beautifu l.

I brought the image into Photoshop and separated this cutie from the rest of the digital stamp as I only had room for her on my card.

I printed this little sweetheart on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

Happy Friday!

When I saw these totally adorable little penguins I instantly knew this would be my next project for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. This super sweet image is called ‘Penguin Hug‘.

I would…without question…own an adorable penguin if I was allowed…a small one of course! I ‘m not sure what my dogs would think about that though…lol

These little sweeties were printed on X-Press It Blending Card and were colored with the following markers:

I brought the image into Photoshop and separated the sentiment from the image. I printed the sentiment by itself so it could be tucked underneath the circle die cuts so that the little bird feet would not get covered up.

The dies are from La-La Land Crafts, Hero Arts, X-Cut, and My Favorite Things.

How awesome and exciting is it that Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios is now a designer/illustrator for My Favorite Things Stamps!!

To kick off Rachelle’s second release with MFT, our team has been given the wonderful opportunity to create with some of her new gorgeous stamps. We couldn’t be more thankful for their generosity!

For today’s inspiration I am working with the stamp set called ‘Birthday Cutie‘. How incredibly sweet she is!!

I Can’t Wait To Get Back Together

Hello everyone!

How awesome and exciting is it that Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios is now a designer/illustrator for My Favorite Things Stamps!!

To kick off Rachelle’s very first release with MFT, our team has been given the wonderful opportunity to create with some of her new gorgeous stamps.

For today’s inspiration I am working with the stamp set called ‘You’re My Jam‘. How stinkin’ adorable!! I had so much fun creating with it.

I stamped these images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with the following markers.

The sky background was ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and Broken China, and the grass was blended with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. Both were sprayed with a little water, and then once dry they were both splattered with diluted white and black craft paint.

I started with a card base of 5×5 and adjusted the length of the tag dies so they fit inside those measurements. I added brown ribbon to the tag front and also inside the background stitched ribbon die cut. I created the sentiment on my computer.
