Hi friends!

My card today features this adorable bushy tail cutie from Emma Punktchen Digital Stamps called Kusschen Nusschen. Look how proud he is of the acorn he found!!

The website is filled with LOTS of adorable digital stamps for inspiration. The website is written in German, however Google will translate to English for you using the translation symbol to the far right of the Google search bar.

This little cutie was printed on X-Press It Blending card and was colored with the following markers.

Hat: BG75, BG72, BG70
Acorn: Top – E57, E37, E35, E55, E31 Bottom – E31, E30

I kept the design simple to focus on the sweet image. Finding the perfect paper was the bigger struggle for me as I never seem to be able to decide on something.

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Hello and welcome!

I am back today with another cutie from Emma Punktchen Digital Stamps called Birdy. I’m SO in love with that pudgy little tummy!!

I printed this sweet image on X-press It Blending Card and colored it with the following markers.

~Copics~
Blue: B95, B93, B91, B000, B0000
Orange: YR18, Y15, Y38
Cheeks: R20, R00, R0000
Gray: W2, W1, W0, W00

Once all my pieces were die cut I got to work on ink blending. The background was ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass. I added some watered down white Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleed Proof White for the white splatters, and then added a few very tiny dots here and there with the my Copic marker B91. The trees were ink blended with Distress Oxide Ink in the color Bundled Sage.

Once everything was dry I added some sparkle with Stickles Glitter Glue – Stardust.

Sharing a little love for the holiday season

The cold nights have me in the mood to create holiday cards. I decided to leave the sentiment off so I had the option to use it as a Christmas card or just a holiday card. I can always add a small sentiment at a later time if I need to.

I love to mix and match dies, as well as trying to find ways to make them look different. The bottom die was shortened to make it fit my card and was placed upside down.

Reach for the Stars

I have some exciting news to share! I have joined the Emma Punktchen Design Team!!

My first card as a design team member features this super sweet digital image called Sternchen.

I printed this sweet image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored it with the following Copic markers.

Pink: RV55, RV10, RV02, RV00, RV000, RV0000
Yellow: Y15, Y11, Y00, Y000, Y0000
Green: YG07, YG05, YG03, YG01, YG00, YG0000
Brown: E55, E31, E30, E50

The background was created with two coordinating pieces of patterned paper from my scrap bins. I added a die cut border with a thin piece of ribbon glued on top to cover up where the background paper is seamed.

The image was die cut with a square die from Gina K Designs and was attached with foam squares.
