Dare to Dream

Hello and welcome everyone!

It’s time for a new challenge at I Am Roses! Today’s design team inspiration is created around this beautiful digital image from All Dressed Up Stamps called Flutter Away.

This sweet little fairy reminds me of the saying on the wall in my craft room that says ‘A dream is a wish your heart makes’.

I printed this little sweetheart on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

I die cut the word Dream 3 times and glued all three layers on top of each other before adhering to my card.

Hello everyone!

It’s time for a new challenge at I Am Roses! Today’s design team inspiration is created around this adorable digital image from Tiddly Inks called ‘Thankful Heart‘.

I for one, am truly thankful for all the blessings in life…even the bad days as they teach me to be stronger and wiser!

I printed this little sweetie on X-Press It Blending card and colored her with the following markers.

In an effort to use dies that I already have, I have been trying to find ways I can change the way they look to make them work for my designs. On this card I cut apart some of my diecuts to create new shapes with them.

I’m back today to share some more sweetness from the new digital release at Sweet November Stamps!

This super sweet fairy is part of the ‘Galentine Fairy’ release and is called ‘Rachel‘.

Hi friends!

It’s time for a new digital release at Sweet November Stamps! I was so excited to be asked to join in with a couple creations this month as a guest designer.

This super sweet fairy is part of the ‘Galentine Fairy’ release and is called ‘Thandie‘.

Dear Santa

Hello and welcome!

Today I’m sharing a this adorably sweet image from All Dressed Up Stamps called Santa Post. She finished her wish list for Santa and is mailing it to Santa in hopes her wishes come true.

I had all my Christmas cards done and mailed out for this year, but decided I should maybe start super early for next years cards..wink wink!

I printed this little cutie on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

I used a minimal print paper and added a scalloped die cut frame around her. Once the frame was glued to the image I then attached it to the card base with and extra layer of thick card stock in between.

Hi friends!

Goodness..it’s been a while since I’ve created a post! Been busy taking care of myself for a little while.

My card today showcases this little cutie from Sweet November Stamps called Christmas Pixie Evie. What a sweet image!

Honestly they all are, so I bought all of them from the November Vault release.

This darling pixie was printed on X-Press It Blending Card and was colored with the following markers.

I added an embossed layer and lots of die cuts for added dimension. I die cut the presents twice, one out of red and one out of white paper. After I decided what color the base of each present was going to be, I then cut out the bow part of the opposite color and glued it on top of the base. I added clear Wink of Stella to several of the die cut pieces to add some shimmer.

Although I have loads of DSP, I couldn’t find what I was looking for so I created my own paper for the background. The orange ribbon is folded at the sides and taped down behind the main image to hide the seam. The postage stamp panel is popped up with double sided foam tape.

Hello crafty friends!

I don’t know about you, but my dogs are little beggars when it comes to ice cream. Good thing I’m not a fan of chocolate ice cream…then there would be no sharing…lol!

Today I am back to share another little sweetheart from the new release at All Dressed Up Stamps. This adorable image is called ‘Too Good to Share‘.

Welcome Little One

Hello friends!

Who doesn’t love holding a tiny baby, and the awesome smell of a new life?

The instant I saw this image I immediately thought of a baby card. This little cutie is part of the Paper Nest Dolls ‘Ark Bundle‘.

I printed this sweet image on white cardstock and colored it with the following colored pencils:

I had so much fun trying to re-create the rainbow from the paper so I could use it on the front of my card. I added a few details with a black marker pen and added in other details with a white gel pen.
