Hello and welcome!

I am playing along with the Ink n’Splatter Stamps design team this month with the fun and spooky ‘Haunting Halloween Release’.

For my card today I have used cute little ‘Frankie” from the Little Boy Boos Stamp Set.

The little dude was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on X-Press It Blending Card and was colored with the following markers.

Orange: YR18, YR16, YR15, Y35
Blue: B05, B04, B02, B01
Purple: V17, V15, V12
Grays: 100, W8, W7, W5, W4, W3
Fine details were added with Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

The bckground for my card is from the ‘Tonight We Ride 6×6 Pattern Paper Pad‘. The papeer was the perfect backdrop for this little cutie!

Some of the die cut pieces were cut out of black and white to make them stand out a little more against the dark blue.

Hello everyone!

There are times you need a card for someone and you struggle with the perfect sentiment…kind of like a ‘just because’ card. This is one of those cards…lol

Today to share my design team project for I Am Roses featuring this super sweet image from Ram Stamps called You Are Beautifu l.

I brought the image into Photoshop and separated this cutie from the rest of the digital stamp as I only had room for her on my card.

I printed this little sweetheart on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

Can you tell how much I love the color pink and that I have a great love for flowers? I could spend the entire day out in my gardens! I am always excited when the flowers are in full bloom.

I am always trying to find different ways to make the dies that I have work for my project. With that being said the white strip behind the image was too long for my card, so I cut a chunk out of the middle of it and glued it to the pink matting behind it. As it is behind the image you can’t see that it was pieced.

Hello everyone!

My design team card for I Am Roses today features an adorable stamp from Stampingbella called Tiny Townie Unicorn.

A dear friend of mine gave me the nudge to finally take her out of the package and create with her…lol!

I stamped this little cutie on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored her with the following markers.

The background paper was made with double sided paper, one design for the top and the other for the bottom. I used a border die and a thin strip of paper to cover the seam, adding a few adhesive back pearls for more detail.

Hello and welcome everyone!

Mother’s Day is coming up, and for once I will be ready!

My design team card for I Am Roses was designed with my Mother-in-Law in mind. The gorgeous flowers are perfect for the beautiful diecuts and the foral paper.

Star Dust Stickles was added to the edges of the large peach flowers. Glitter without a doubt makes everything better…lol!!

The cream scalloped eyelet diecut in the background was actually a rectangle, but needed it to be square for my card. The make it work I cut part of it out and glued it back together, hiding the seam behind the olive ribbon.
