Conie Fong – July Challenge

It’s your Birthday!

Hello everyone!

I am back today sharing some gorgeousness!!  Today’s project was designed with Whimsy Stamp’s new Birthday Word and Shadow Die Set and the Your Birthday Clear Stamps set.  These sets are perfect for all types of cards!  This card will be given to my mother in-law…it’s her birthday today!!

It's-Your-Birthday

It seems weird that I didn’t do any coloring on this card, but it turned out absolutely gorgeous!

It's-Your-Birthday1

I used two of the rectangle dies from the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle Dies.  I taped the two together with Purple Tape on the backside of the dies making sure they stayed together while die-cutting the paper.  I also cut two layers out of white craft foam while the two were taped together.

It's-your-Birthday2

I cut the word die three times and glued them all together to make it look dimensional before gluing it on the frame.  I used bling for the dot in the letter I.

The paper is from my stash, and the flowers are from I Am Roses.

Good morning everyone!

I am back today to share with you two of the sweetest little bears from Conie Fong called Bella & Benji.  How completely adorable!  It’s as if they are falling in love while sharing ice cream.

Sweet on you1

I printed this adorable digital image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored the little cuties with the following Copic markers.

Sweeto on you3

I cut out the white scalloped frame 3 times and glued them all together to make it look like chipboard.  I used the inside of the scalloped frame (the waste piece) to create the blue mat, trimming it down a little on all four sides and then tracing it on the blue paper before cutting it out.  Once I was done adhering it all together, I popped the entire piece up with foam tape before adhering it to the green paper.

Sweet on you3

The die is from Mama Elephant and the green paper is from My Favorite Things.

I created the sentiments in Microsoft Word, adding green cardstock behind the wording to make them stand out.  I then used 3D foam tape to adhere it to the card.  As always…I added a little bling…lol

As always there are many more cuties to be found in the shop here.

Thank you so much for stopping by…hope to see you soon!

Little Day Dreamer

Hello again!

I am back today with my DT creation for All Dressed Up Stamps using one of the little cuties from 3 Little Summer Girls.  Such a precious image to work with.

I knew right away that this little sweetie needed to be colored in pink!!  (My favorite color)

Only in my dreams

~Copics~
Skin:  E11/21/00/000/0000-R20/30/00
Hair:  E55/31/42/53/30/50
Pinka:  RV02/10/00/000
Hat:  E42/41/40
Flower:  RV02/10/00/000/W1/CB/White Gel Pen for design
Background:  W0/00/CB

Only in my dreams2

I started with a 5.5″ x 5.5″ card base, and added lots of layers from there.  As the paper was 6×6 I had to find a way to keep the gorgeous flowers on the sides.  To do this I carefully cut out two of the “boards” and then carefully taped the two pieces back together with the hope that you couldn’t tell.  I think I succeeded…lol!  I added Stardust Stickles to the edges of the pink roses and to the petals of the flower on her hat…she just had to have a little sparkle!

Only in my dreams3

I started with two sizes of ovals and added a layer of vellum over the darker layer to mute the dark green color just a bit.  I fussy cut the cutie out and popped her up with foam tape.  I also popped up some of the layers with foam tape.

Only in my dreams4

The dies are from My Favorite Things and La-La Land Crafts.  I used a Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper (Stub/Scallop) to create the decorative corners.

The paper is from Lemon Craft -House of Roses 6×6 paper pad…absolutely gorgeous paper!  The ribbon is Vintage Chalk White Seam Binding Ribbon that I got wet, scrunched it up into a tight ball, and dried before making a bow with it.  I also added a few pearls in various sizes to finish the card off.
