Pumpkin Kitty

Hello everyone!

Squeeeeee…it’s new release time again at Whimsy Stamps.  My inspiration today came from the Build-a-Pumpkin Die Set, the Falling Leaves Background stamp, and the Dracula Going Batty Die Set.

I had so much fun being a little creative with this die cut.  I tried my hand at a little cat face drawing and turned this pumpkin into a pumpkin kitty….I LOVE how it turned out!!

I die cut this pumpkin shape on X-Press It Blending Card and colored it with the following Copic Markers.

I stamped the background with the Falling Leaves Background stamp.  I chose to keep it black and white as the pumpkin is pretty bright.  I added a little black and white stripe paper from My Favorite Things to the bottom, and a few bats from the Dracula Going Batty Die Set.

The sentiment was created with stamps from the Going Batty Stamp Set.  Once I had it stamped, I die cut it out with the Quick Strips Die Set.

Good morning!

How fun are these adorable bats from Whimsy Stamps new release?  These little cuties are from the Going Batty Clear Stamp set.  These handsome little dudes have been busy taking flying lessons and one of them took a wrong turn.  He is hoping his little bottle of elixir will help him feel better.

I created this fun shaker card with the new Wonky Window 2 Die and the Messy Mesh Background Rubber Stamp.  I only used the center two windows for the actual shaker part, leaving the top and bottom portion for the image and sentiment.  The adorable little bat was attached to the card after it was finished.

Once I was done with all the coloring, I fussy cut her out and set her aside while I assembled the shaker element.

Hello again!

I don’t know about you, but I feel fabulous when I am all dressed up!  This gorgeous lady from All Dressed Up Stamps called ‘Party Frock‘ is feeling the same way.

Hey All!

I had so much fun creating this card.  Is it obvious yet that I really enjoy creating with girly images??  I hand colored the dress on the dress form to give it a little more detail.

Hard to believe…but I didn’t have anything in my mountain of paper stash that was quite right for the background behind her.  I took the idea of the name of the stamp and set out to create a subtle print in Microsoft word in a font color to match the rest of the paper.  Worked out perfectly!

With Sympathy

Hello everyone!

I am back again today to share another project for Whimsy Stamp’s with the new release Goth Die Set.   Although the dies are called ‘Goth’, my brain says angel wings.

Although it’s always sad when the need arises,  I thought they were perfect for a sympathy card.

I cut the wings out of X-Press It blending card as I wanted to add a little coloring to dress them up a little bit.

With-Sympathy

I applied Clear Wink of Stella to the wings to give them a little shimmer, and popped them up with foam tape to help them stand out a little bit.

I added a little cheese cloth, a heart charm, and gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses, giving the card a feminine feel.  The sentiment is from ‘A Girl’s Best Friend‘ Clear Stamp set.
