As hot and humid as it has been where I live, I would love to jump in the pond with this adorable little Toad.  This sweet image from Digi-Doodle Studios is part of the Pond Life Pairables Digi Stamp Set.  This set is Toadally adorable!!!

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am sharing with you a cute image from All Dressed Up Stamps called ‘Summer Trainers‘.

There are so many sentiments that would work with this image, it was hard to choose.  I ended up asking my daughter what she thought.  She suggested this sentiment and it was perfect!!

I have some exciting news to share…I was asked to join the design team for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios!  Such a talented and amazing artist!

For my first card I am using the super sweet image called ‘Balloon Ride‘.  Isn’t she just the sweetest little thing holding on to her adorable bear?

Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could skip the airplanes and travel by balloon to see our family and friends right now?…lol

3D Trinket Box ~ La-La Land Crafts

Good morning!

It’s Inspiration Friday at La-La Land Crafts with a theme of ‘3D’.

I have never made a circle box before, so before I could start I needed to do a little research on how to do it.  Once I decided on which style I had supplies for, I dove in.  I was nervous to be honest…lol!

I think settling on an image sometimes is the hardest part for me…in the end this adorable little garden fairy from the Love to Garden Clear Stamp Set won!  I have always been drawn to the sweetness of this set.

I started my project by stamping this little cutie on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following Copic Markers.

I used the Pointy Flowers Die and Foamiran Foam to create the curled flowers that have stamen centers.  I ran the dies through my die cutting machine using the foam instead of paper, colored them with Distress Oxide inks and then heated them with an iron (with the inside of flower facing the iron) for a few seconds until they started to curl.

I used the All About Lace Layering Stencil for the center background, lightly blending it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to create a soft backdrop.

The ribbons on the cake were created with the Build-a-Cake Die by cutting the pieces and then carefully taping the die up a little bit to create the ribbons.
