Hello everyone!

I don’t know about you, but I can get completely lost in the pages of a book. Time just flies as you unravel the story.

This sweet mermaid is reading all about a new adventure as she flips through the pages of her new book. She is part of an adorable digital stamp set called ‘Mermaids Reading Adventure‘ from StreamsideStudios.

This little cutie was printed on X-Press It Blending Card and was colored with the following markers.

It’s a new day

Hi friends!

Isn’t it amazing that we get to start each day with a fresh new start? A new dawn…a new day!

I am back today with a gorgeous floral card for Crafty Meraki. These beautiful flowers were created with a fabulous set of dies called ‘Rachel Meraki Para Dies‘. The scalloped frame die is from the die set called Timeless Frames Mini Slimline Para-Dies.

I die cut the flowers with Neenah Solar Crest White 110lb paper and colored them with the following markers:

~Copics~
Pinks: RV09, RV55, RV02, RV10, V20
Greens: YG95, YG93, YG91, YG11
Browns: E29, E27, E25, E23
Colorless Blender

I started with a card base that measures 6-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ (mini slimline size). To that I added a white panel 6-1/8″ x 3-3/8″, a gold panel 6″ x 3 1/4″, and a pink print panel 5-7/8″ x 3-1/8″.

I then diecut the middle size scalloped frame die out of white paper, adding a white panel that fit behind the frame. This panel was adhered to my card with double sided foam tape, being careful to center it before it was stuck down.

The flowers were arranged and glued down with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Pinkfresh Studios It’s a New Day Floral stamp set. Once cut and matted, I attached it to my card with double sided tape.

You’re a shining STAR

Hello, hello friends!

I am back today with a new release cutie from All Dressed Up Stamps called ‘Star‘. I fell absolutely in LOVE with her!!

It wasn’t until I had her started that I thought of the idea for the background.

I printed this adorable image on Neenah Desert Storm paper and colored her with the following colored pencils.

I had the idea of a shining star behind her, but of course didn’t have quite the right stencil for what I had in mind. So…I used drew it in freehand and crossed my fingers and toes that I could get the spacing right.

A sister’s love

Hi friends!

The bond between sisters is one that lasts a lifetime! But definitely not talking about the secrets we share…lol

This little cutie called Bailey with Flower is from The Paper Nest Dolls.

I printed two of the same image (flipping one to face the opposite direction) on plain white card stock and then colored them the same so they look like twin sisters.

Hello friends!

I am back today with another cutie from All Dressed Up Stamps. This little sweetheart is called Dog Walker. I absolutely love that sweet little braid she has in her hair…so utterly adorable!!

Walking with our dogs was my intention 5 years ago when we got two Mini Australian Shepherd puppies. They however do not like to walk on the country roads next to the cars…and they eat things faster than I can see what they put in their mouths. So needless to say I still walk by myself.

I printed this cutie on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with the following markers.

Hello crafty friends!

I don’t know about you, but I really miss my family and friends!

My project today features some beautiful dies from Crafty Meraki’s new release. The fabulous flower die is called Kelsey Meraki Flora Para-Dies. I paired the flowers with the Timeless Frames Mini Slimline Die and a sentiment from the To-tail-ly Awesome Stamp Set.

My card base is slightly bigger than the largest die from the Timeless Frames Mini Slimline Die to accomodate the layered look.

The flowers were die-cut from Watercolour paper and were colored with the following watercolour pencils.

Once my flowers were dry I added a small piece of cardstock behind the center of the flowers so the cutout portion could be glued down. I then punched an 1/8″ hole in the center of each flower so I could glue the stamens in place.

I curled some of the edges of the flowers before attaching them to my card with double sided foam tape. I then stamped the sentiment from the To-tail-ly Awesome Stamp Set, matted it with matching green card stock and attached that to my card with foam tape. The sequins were attached with Ranger Ink Glossy Accents.

You’re SPOOK-tacular

Hello everyone!

I am back today with a little cutie from Streamside Studios digital new release stamp set called My Little Pet Ghost.

When I saw this darling image I envisioned her in a fancy pink dress, so that is what she is dressed in today. I had SO much fun adding the flowers.

Hello and welcome!

Today I am sharing a beautiful card made with gorgeous products from the Crafty Meraki store. The beautiful flower dies are from Crafty Meraki and are called Chloe Meraki Flora Para-Dies. They were super easy to color and make such a statement on this card!

Sometimes it’s the totally unexpected creation that just grabs your attention. This card is one of them for me.

I die cut the Chloe Meraki flower dies on X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with the following markers.

You Make Me Feel Chirpy

Hello friends!

Do you have a certain someone that makes you feel chirpy? I have been with my husband for 41 years and I would still snuggle up on a perch with him…lol!

My card today was created with the most adorable Toucans from Crafty Meraki. These super sweet little sweethearts are from the Tou the Tropics Stamp Set.

I stamped this adorable image on Neenah Solar White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with the following colored pencils.

~Prismacolor Pencils~
Black: 935, 1067, 1065, 1063, 1054
Blues: 208, 1040, 1022, 919, 1087
Browns: 948, 946, 941, 1082, 1080, 997
Oranges: 918, 1002, 917, 1003

Yellows: 942, 916, 1011, 914
White: 938

I ink blended the background panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and then splattered it with diluted white and black craft paint. Once the panel was dry, I die cut it with the Crafty Meraki Mini Slimline Bar None die. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Tweet Friends Stamp Set.

I left every other space white to create a little visual contrast. The Toucans were attached to card with double sided foam tape. Just a few coordinating enamel dots finishes the card.

Thank you so much for joining me today. I am beyond excited to finally spill the beans and let you know that I have joined up with all the talented ladies at Streamside Studios!! Let me just say that there is a whole lot of cute inspiration to create with.

For my project today I chose to work with the Fairy Fun Digital Stamp Set. I did color up one of the super adorable fairies as well, but decided this gorgeous rose needed to be front and center today…lol!!
