Little Day Dreamer

Hello again!

I am back today with my DT creation for All Dressed Up Stamps using one of the little cuties from 3 Little Summer Girls.  Such a precious image to work with.

I knew right away that this little sweetie needed to be colored in pink!!  (My favorite color)

I started with a 5.5″ x 5.5″ card base, and added lots of layers from there.  As the paper was 6×6 I had to find a way to keep the gorgeous flowers on the sides.  To do this I carefully cut out two of the “boards” and then carefully taped the two pieces back together with the hope that you couldn’t tell.  I think I succeeded…lol!  I added Stardust Stickles to the edges of the pink roses and to the petals of the flower on her hat…she just had to have a little sparkle!

I started with two sizes of ovals and added a layer of vellum over the darker layer to mute the dark green color just a bit.  I fussy cut the cutie out and popped her up with foam tape.  I also popped up some of the layers with foam tape.

The dies are from My Favorite Things and La-La Land Crafts.  I used a Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper (Stub/Scallop) to create the decorative corners.

The paper is from Lemon Craft -House of Roses 6×6 paper pad…absolutely gorgeous paper!  The ribbon is Vintage Chalk White Seam Binding Ribbon that I got wet, scrunched it up into a tight ball, and dried before making a bow with it.  I also added a few pearls in various sizes to finish the card off.

As always, you can find an abundance of gorgeous inspiration images for sale here.

Thanks for visiting today!  Remember to join in the fun and enter your All Dressed Up projects in the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog.  We would love to see your creations.

Your card is gorgeous. I love anything pink and I really like the background you used to mount her on and the flowers are the perfect size and the pearls perfect finishing touch
